We used 8 1 inch strips of card stock with holes punched on both ends (I couldn't find my hole punch so I poked holes with a screwdriver and it actually held the paper in place better than a large punched hole would have), 2 leaves of various colors (we had some glittery copper leaves as well, very pretty), and a pipe cleaner folded in half and twisted. The boys wrote or traced things they were thankful for and then threaded the pipe cleaner through the holes. I helped to flatten the end on the bottom when they were done. I placed all of the materials in a basket on our shelves and we ended up with enough pumpkins to send some home with Grammy.

Hi Ashley, this is Sarah Beck. I'm so sorry I won't be able to attend Tuesday evening. I was really wanting to make it though. Will you please email me the instructions/patterns and things so that I can make it myself? I have the list of materials you passed out at church, but I would like anything else you put together. Thanks for doing this! I know it's a lot of work.
